Over the coming months, Robin will be working on numerous varied projects. In November, his new piece for Cello, Limoncello, will be featured in a private masterclass overseen by Magnus Lindberg and Anssi Karttunen. His choral piece, Thou Toad, Thou Toad will be performed by the Blossom Street Singers in a concert of new choral repertoire on the 13th of January 2017 at Regents Hall in London. Robin will also be collaborating with recorder player Tabea Debus (St. John’s Smith Square young artist 2015/16) on a piece for five recorder players, which will be performed at the Royal Academy of Music on the 24th of January 2017.
Later in 2017, Robin will be writing a dramatic piece to be performed in the basement of Shoreditch town hall, as well as a duo for accordion and viola, written for Diphonon Duo. Having studied with Edmund Finnis last year, Robin is now under the supervision of both Finnis and David Sawer for the remainder of his time at the Royal Academy of Music.
